Cayton Village is a 500 yard stroll away with its two Pubs, Post office, fish and chip shop and two general stores. Within a short 2 mile drive is a large Morrisons supermarket, which also hosts a Macdonalds and the Hungry Horse Pub / Restaurant. Killerby Old Hall is just over a mile away from the sea and the golden sands of Cayton Bay. A short drive away is the seaside resort of Filey, with plenty of restaurants and shopping facilities. Scarborough The town of Scarboorugh is a short journey away. Which offers extensive shopping facilities, which includes the Brunswick shopping centre. Scarborough offers a lot of leisure and recreational facilities. There is a choice of an indoor or outdoor swimming pool, the famous Stephen Joseph Theatre or you can visit the Scarborough castle which dominates the Scarborough skyline which offers spectacular views. Scarborough also hosts it's annual Cricket Festival together with Yorkshire C.C, with one day and county matches been held through out the summer. There is excellent fishing and sea angling along the coast together with walks such as The Cleveland and Wolds Way which are recognised as among the most interesting walks in Britain. Close By Killerby is centrally located to access the Heritage coast, or the North Yorkshire moors and Whitby are but a gentle drive away. For the more adventurous Flamingo Land theme park, Langdale 4X4 experience, or Quad biking are also within an easy drive.
